Billing questions
- How does the free trial work?
- Every new family gets 14 days of Standard free, including 5 schoolwork uploads, with no card needed. Your dashboard shows how many days are left. If you choose a plan during the trial it starts straight away. If you don't, you move to the Free plan when the trial ends, and your child's progress, history and any schoolwork already added all stay.
- What does the free plan actually include?
- One student, the full daily session, skill tracking and history, 200 AI-graded answers and 150 new lessons and practice sets a month. Reviews and anything already prepared don't count. If the month's new lessons run out, your child keeps going with reviews and more arrive on the 1st. If grading runs out, answers get a worked solution instead of a grade until the month resets.
- What does "fair use" mean on paid plans?
- Paid plans have a high monthly ceiling on new lessons that a normal family never gets near. It's there to stop something going wrong, not to ration learning.
- Which subjects are included?
- Maths and English are the heart of every plan, strongest for Years 3 to 8. Other subjects are in beta: they work through the schoolwork you add, and their lessons are newer and less reviewed.
- What counts as a worksheet upload?
- One photo, PDF or Word file that Masterly reads and turns into questions. Typing or pasting questions is unlimited on every plan.
- Can I change or cancel?
- Yes, from Settings → Billing. Cancelling keeps the plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then drops to Free without losing any history.
- Is there a school or tutor plan?
- Not yet. If you work with more than four students, email [email protected] and we'll sort something out.
